I had a pleasant stay at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis for five nights. The hotel's location was excellent, allowing me easy access to nearby attractions like Union Square and the Moscone Center. The room was comfortable and clean, and I appreciated the modern updates, particularly the flooring. However, I did experience some inconvenience with the elevators, as one set was under repair, which occasionally caused delays and required me to switch lifts. Overall, this hotel offered a solid experience with a few minor drawbacks.

My stay at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Union Square was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, putting me within easy reach of shopping and public transport. However, the hotel is currently undergoing construction, which made for a rather noisy experience. On the upside, the 39th-floor bar offered amazing night views that were undoubtedly the highlight of my trip.

The hotel's location is a real standout feature. It was easy to access local attractions and public transport, allowing me to explore the city conveniently.
Dining

There was a limited dining option in the hotel, with only one restaurant available. The food I had there was delicious, but I felt that the menu choices were a bit restricted, especially with ongoing renovations.

The hotel amenities were adequate, including a useful pantry for snacks. However, the valet parking was pricey and the construction work affected some of the usual operations.

I had a pleasant stay overall at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Union Square. The remodeled rooms are beautiful and comfortable, making for a cozy retreat after a busy day. However, I found the lobby area to be quite crowded during events, which detracted a bit from the experience. Plus, I was surprised by some extra costs for amenities that I didn't expect.

While the food options were diverse, I found the breakfast buffet to be quite pricey for what was offered. I ended up enjoying some quality drinks at the roof bar, but room service was notably absent, which was disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and I enjoyed the gym during my stay. However, the check-in process was a bit inefficient, and I wished there were clearer directions in the elevators to help navigate the hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions. and the views from the higher floors were stunning. While the service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff, I found the M Club lounge a bit overrated, though I appreciated the food options. The room quality and size were excellent, contributing positively to the experience despite some minor inconveniences.
